Healthcare Business Analyst 1

The Nevada department of Health and Human Services, DWSS participated in the Longitudinal Data Project. The purpose of implementing the SNAP LDP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program _ Longitudinal Data Project) is to enable longitudinal research on the participation in SNAP over periods of time and across state lines. The main objectives of this project include enable secure sharing of the data elements for SNAP LDP with Census Bureau, Improve the SNAP data evaluation across state lines by progressing toward a standardized data format to enable data comparison and SNAP Longitudinal research. To achieve these objectives DWSS worked with the vendor to implement the SNAP LDP project.

Responsibilities:

Participated in JAD sessions facilitated by the Project manager with Internal Stakeholders and vendor to discuss on High level requirements.

Worked closely with the project manager (PMO) in Documenting the Business requirements and shared the BRD in share point to ensure access to the required teams.

Meetings with the Subject Matter Experts to find the best approaches to address the client’s requirements.

Captured meeting minutes using One-Note during the meetings between the vendor and client thereby prepare and assign the action items to the appropriate teams.

Collaborated with the teams in creating Process models using MS Visio to make it easy for the business to understand and to ensure confirmation on the process flow.

Participated in the Fit/Gap analysis to analyze and identify collection of data elements from the existing databases and from the interfaces to move towards Gold Standard.

Acquired knowledge on the standardization of data elements to meet the Gold Standard outlined in the Parameters of Participation (PFP) guidance document as identified by FNS and the Census Bureau.

Healthcare Business Quality Analyst

FEI systems provide health information technology solutions and services that assist federal, state, and local agencies in caring for the most vulnerable members of the communities they serve. The Maryland Long Term Services and Support System (LTSS Maryland) is a web-based, participant centered system for service management and case management for special needs population. It includes up to date information on individual participants in the Medicaid waiver programs and state-funded services. It enables secure coordination, delivery, and payment for services.

Responsibilities:

Participated in various activities of the project like requirement elicitation, analyzing the information, scoping sessions, and documenting the functional requirements.

Worked on modules like Documents upload in Provider portal, EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) and non-EVV services for participants and claim submission for MMIS(Medicaid management IS) in provider portal.

Doctorite is a Chronic Care Management and Analytics Platform that helps licensed healthcare providers to deliver the best virtual care-continuity of patients through Healthcare Navigators (HCN). Improving supervised care management and treatment outcomes reduces re-admission risks and enhances active patient engagement and experience. The Digital platform provides HCNs with an integrated view of patient health data, assessments, vitals, personalized care plan goals and patient progress to deliver effective and holistic care. This platform is designed to provide integrated care for patients with co-occurring physical, mental and social determinants of health conditions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and directing new features for the platform from the ground up, implementing improvements to the application’s UI, functionality, and backend rules, which contributed to most of the application’s development.

Conducted project related presentations periodically to the management and end users during various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
