Sr. Project Manager, TELUS Health (January 2019 – January 2024)

Senior Project Manager and lead within the PMO of the TELUS Health Benefits Management, Pharmacy and Drug Adjudication business and DevOps groups, building and delivering new products, services, infrastructure and applications features and functionality.

Lead and facilitate solutions and technical design, business requirements, applications design & development and systems API integration, QA/UAT, change management and control and production release deployment.

Lead the DBAs and data analyst teams for the ETL and data conversions in collaboration with the BI analytics vendor IQVIA.

Program/Sr. Project Manager, Great Canadian Gaming Corp. (OLG) (August 2017 – October 2018)

Program/Lead Project Manager under the PMO purview for the IT and business systems transition and implementation of 7 OLG Casinos to the GC corporate and Gaming Management Systems platform.

Project lead for the requirements, procurement and implementation of the corporate Datacenter and disaster recovery, data encryption, security tightening and penetration testing, Bell Canada network services, F5 firewall/access policy/load balancer, Cisco routers and switches. Added projects include the implementation of new VMware/Microsoft SQL, file and print server provisioning, workstation rollout and POS.

Project Lead for all the Telecom VOIP and Audio-Visual planning, vendor integrator procurement, network architecture design, implementation and integration of the hardware and software systems including backend racking and stacking and frontend monitors and signage and desktop systems. Systems implemented across all casinos floors, offices and conference board rooms tested to ensure optimal space acoustics sound experience, lighting and desired network signal quality and functionality.

Collaborate with OLG and GCGC business and IT and lead the teams of BAs, Architects, developers, QA and UAT and PROD implementation.

Lead for the infrastructure provisioning/build, and applications development, configuration, testing and implementation of the Great Canadian JDE HRIS, Payroll, Benefits platform and Cognos BI Analytics, DW ETL processing of Finance, Operations and Marketing reporting data.

Coordinate the QA, UAT configuration and testing and validation of the JDE GC GTA Casino business instances and deployment to Production.

Project lead for the OLG mandated Facial Recognition & Self Exclusion hardware and software implementation and testing in collaboration with OLG and OmniView iTrak systems. Also included the IdentIpass/Prowatch security systems migration and implementation and employee provisioning and coordination, mobilization and scheduling of internal and external vendor resources.

Lead and coordinated with the project team for the development and delivery of the OLG and government mandated Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA’s) artifacts and Anti Money Laundering (AML) integration of information technologies, information systems, proposals and initiatives. This involved the collection, use and disclosure of patron information data in compliance with FIPPA and FINTRAC regulations.

Provided input for business cases, executive steering committee briefings and communicate and escalate needs and goals to OLG and GCGC stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Lead the planning of the new Active Directory domain implementation and collaborated with OLG and GC IT and business for the user and SharePoint data migration, security and permissions provisioning.

Provide direction and lead project team and manage external vendors to streamline the implementation of IT systems to support GCGC strategic acquisitions and transition initiatives.

Project Manager under the purview of the EPMO for onboarding, planning and executing of corporate client consulting and outsourcing projects within an Agile SDLC framework.

Project lead for on premises and SAAS enterprise infrastructure, application development and service portal deployment of client facing projects - HOOPP, Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan. Program lead for the technical and business systems requirements analysis and implementation for all IT application and infrastructure of the CommScope Satellite Communication business unit divestiture to a private equity held company – ASC Signal Corporation. $1.2 million program.

Project lead for the Active Directory domain migration and cutover of network, servers and workstation platform from CommScope to ASC Signal Corp for three North American and one European branch office and service sites.

Technical Lead for the core corporate enterprise datacenter infrastructure design, testing, migration and virtualization/optimization of the co-location hosting and management of key server farm, network appliances and storage systems for strategic operation, scalability and business continuity.
