Regional Operations Manager

PEPMOVE - Aurora, CO

November 2013 to July 2022

As the Regional Operations Manager I oversaw all operations and was directly responsible for the productivity and performance of all locations in my Region. I started as a driver in 2013 and worked my way up within the organization. In 2016 I was promoted to a location manager and opened a brand new branch for the company in SLC. I was incredibly successful with that location and we became profitable within the first year. I was then moved to Portland to take over a company we purchased. I needed to overcome internal issues and train to convert to a new location for Pepmove. Within the first year at that location we became the most profitable branch in the company. In 2019 I was promoted to Regional Operations Manager and moved to Denver to take over the flagship location as well as help manage the west coast region. The Aurora location was not profitable at the time and my main focus was to train, hire and mitigate issues that were caused by previous management. I encountered many hurdles between 2019 and 2021 because of the existing issues as well as the challenges that came with Covid. I was extremely successful in transforming the branch into an efficient and profitable location and maintained between 20% & 28% margins my entire time with the company.

My daily responsibilities were as follows

• Staffing- included hiring, tracking performance and all disciplinary actions

• Routing- Ensuring every day was properly routed and maximized efficiency and personel to ensure profitability

• Billing- Checking all paperwork for accuracy and assuring all delays were accounted for. Then sending to our customers and our clients for payment.

• Truck Maint- Ensuring trucks were inspected, maintained and serviced properly and passed all regulations.

• Warehouse- Ensuring cleanliness and order, as well as purchasing necessary supplies.

• Location- Managed the building maint needs and checks

• Training- Set up meetings and ride alongs to ensure all team members were trained properly and recieved additional training and support as needed.

• Conducting meetings- Setting up meetings with locations and clients to ensure the best possible service and communication.

• Creating processes and procedures- I was directly responsible and took the initiative in several instances for creating training programs and actual documents for the company to use as a standard. Pepmove grew considerably during my time there and these documents simply didn't exist yet. Regional Manager
