Working Experience :

I was Articled Student / employed with Howlader Yunus & Company – Chartered Accountants during 1977-1985. During the period I’ve audited numerous Company Accounts – Bank, Jute Mills, Sugar Mills, Private & Public Limited companies and Non-trading concerns and investigated several case of defalcations. The last position held was Manager – Audit, responsible for assigning audit jobs to Senior & Junior Auditors and finalise reports made by them.

After closing with farm of Chartered Accountants, my first job was in the biggest garment industry of the country at that time – Desh Garments Limited. I’ve joined the company in July 1985 as Manager (Finance), ended up as General Manager (Operations) in June 1989.

I have joined Rafkhat Garments as General Manager (Finance & Commercial) in July 1989, ended up as Executive Director in June 1991.

I was CEO of Garment Buying House – Ornate Enterprise for 6 years from 1991 – 1998. It was a proprietorship concern owned by me and I was responsible for total operation of the company. The company was most successful one but the buyer themselves set up there sourcing office in Dhaka and discontinued providing orders to us. I had to close down the company as I did not have other buyer.

I was CEO of Niponika Garments Limited – 100% export oriented ready-made garments manufacturing company from1998 to July 2021. I was responsible for total operation of the company. It was a highly profitable business. It was a company composed of members from my family and relatives. Nobody was eager to shift the factory to a new place even though buyers were reluctant to place order in the factory located in a shared building. Consequently, the company was shut down.

I have expertise knowledge of Auditing, Internal Check & Control, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Law, Transportation, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality Control, Finance, Procurement, Inventory Control, etc. and I’m capable to efficiently run (as CEO) an organisation most efficiently.
