MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE/SPECIAL PROJECTS/META

Repair and maintain mechanical systems and associated components such as belts, bearings, gears, sprockets, chains, shafts, and couplings.Follow all rules involving communications with staff and suited employees. Stay clear of large pipes that are throughout the facility to keep safety at its peak while water and electricity are closely together. Keep mechanical systems in operating order safe and running at all locations in the U.S. Travel to all locations which may require long stays in different states.. Remove and replace identification stickers and labels from the ground up to 50 feet of elevation. Drive assigned company vehicles to and from various locations in the state to ensure all labels are numbered by order of location to maintain proper function of systems and controls.All operations must be kept in such a manner as a dry and clean visible area. Maintained a good understanding of the types of cables, cable color codes, and other cabling techniques. Continuous use of penguin and I&R applications that send numerous jobs throughout Columbia, Blythewood, Irmo, Lexington, Gaston, Eastover, Camden and soon other areas for installation of service to include cable, internet and or fiber optics. Jobs consist of running lines... measure signal strength... tighten all fittings... replace if needed... .. troubleshooting install cable boxes, home phone and modems as well as complete aerial and underground drops. Close jobs out in penguin and I&R application after each job completion. Listen and observe the customers needs while performing tasks and ensuring the customers needs are met. FEB 2013-APRIL 2019.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS/ SUPERVISOR

First employee of the company. Started out doing simple signing off on truck loads that came in to include both exports and imports. After work picked up pace, I began to organize the warehouse to ensure more efficiency and cleanliness. While maintaining the warehouse I signed off on truck drop offs of then imported and exported metals.Work expanded to different types of shipments to include old aircraft parts and machinery disposed of. I kept a log and weight of each item and separated each load according to its details. I became certified in forklift operations to load and unload trucks safely.i worked overtime to ensure proper closing of the warehouse. I worked up to the supervisor position where I was in charge of all mechanical maintenance and warehouse maintenance to include all forklift operations, truck loading and unloading, signing of any and all paperwork, disciplinary actions given and new hires. I had high expectations of my crew to keep clean and running any and all floors, equipment, pallets, and machinery.. Followed all specifications expected of me. Crew was ordered to organize the area in order of arrival, weigh pallets and organize different components to make for a neat, clean environment. I kept logs of hours of employees and each duty assigned per day. Held meetings and implemented new ways of improving and keeping the company growing. Company eventually relocated out of the U.S. in which I chose to relocate to Columbia SC. Took with me great knowledge and experience in communications and leadership. Not to exclude a great relationship with all employees and staff.
