Hi ! I’m a creative individual with a big heart. I’m French and I have just graduated from the University of Montreal in Creative writing and Cinema. I have few experiences just yet, but I’m full of initiative and regularly integrate fresh ideas in what I do. I’m looking for a position in my field. I have five years of studying in creative writing behind me, and throughout my learning process, I became very fond of graphic design, as I built my own business on the side and produced my own prints as well as learning storyboarding. Street art festival participation — 2019 -

Since 2019, I started participating to Mural Festival as an artist in Montreal, in which i would design and paint various structures, such as a container and wooden structures.

Graphic designer — 2021 -

Since 2021, I have been a freelance graphic designer. My favorite one so far has to be the design I did for Bemol & Levain Bakery and coffee shop. I had full carte blanche on this project, so I could really give my best work. I like to work on designs that are minimalist and simple, in cartoon-vintage way. This logo is used for rebranding, boards and merch in the shop. I also really enjoyed working on menu designs, smaller doodles for visual details in a business. I always work with a vintage approach, using the raw materials of the crayons as it makes them more authentic and nostalgic. See more all on my instagram page @cleo.jacob.creative

Short Animated Film ‘’It’s a Frog Story’’— Pixar Xperimental, 2023-24

In progress. A short film to be released in 2024. A project in which I am in charge of every aspect (script, storyboards, illustrations, video editing) supervised by Pixar team.

Children’s book — with the illustrations of Stephane Tartelin, 2023-

In progress. A short story following the path of a lost Plushie trying to find his way back while figuring out where all the lost toys go. In collaboration with Stephane Tartelin, working together on the illustrations and story. I am fully in charge of the storyline and text as well.

I have always been a creative person, whether it is in writing, developing new recipes or even drawing. I developed my own creative concept, in which I can explore and expand my graphic designs. This led me to build my own website, find a good printing house, choose different alternatives for a specific type of print and offer different formats.

Skills acquired : Adobe Photoshop, drawing skills and printing.

Bémol & Levain Bakery, Montreal— Barista, social media & brand manager

september 2021 - september 2023

Multi task Barista, Social media manager and Logo Branding : When I’m passionate about something, I give it my all; which is why I got so invested in my last job. I started as a simple barista, then quickly started to bake, and moved on to rebranding the logo, mascot, and social media. Redesigned the bakery’s logo, created an original mascot to represent the brand, designed original graphic merch and visual boards. I’m in touch with anything creative, and will always pay attention to details as I am a perfectionist.
