We had to build an application in Software Engineering class that is able to send, receive, reply, view, and store email addresses of users.

I designed the frontend using Java Swing and MySQL for backend.

The content of the emails were stored on the OS file system in .txt files and created tables to store all other data.

Based on the user request, the application would execute queries and retrieve the necessary information from the database and in some cases read or write to the file system.
