Working full-time, while obtaining my degree gave me hands on experiences. My education became more meaningful by learning in both the classroom and on the job.

As a very self-motivated and highly organized professional, I completed my degree while working 50+ hours a week.

I also wrote for the school’s newspaper, one of my articles, Orthodox Lifestyle, made the front page in 2017.

I was fortune enough to attend a university that focuses on developing leadership through volunteering.

For example, I got to spend a week my junior year volunteering at a Brooklyn’s First Relief Kitchen in the Bronx. This experience has stayed with me since, because this particular soup kitchen also provides the homeless with other services. These services included, shopping a food pantry, washing clothes, and getting a haircut. It was the first time I realized that leadership along with business management can be rewarding to the soul.

Assistant Manager/ Head of Human (People’s) Resource Department

In the past 9 years I have worked as a both an assistant and general manager of a fast-food chain, i have acquired knowledge in all aspects of managing a business. This includes training and developing new employees, scheduling, hiring, inventory management, Human Resources, and project management.

As the previous head of both, the human resource and kitchen departments I managed quarterly inspections and developed systems to uphold OSAH safety policies. Within these departments, I gained experienced with organizing and implementing opportunity strategies, creating accounting and financial data reports, and reaching monetary goals.

In 2019, I began at my second McDonald’s. During the last four years, I have had a firsthand role in growing the store from an average of 4.2 million dollars in annual revenue to our current pace of 7 million in sales this year. I currently am the second assistant within the store and head of the Human Resource department.

Most recently, however I was also promoted to the general manager of a third stone. This opportunity helped me to understand a desire to further my career in a different business sector.
