Project Introduction

Block KG-DWN-98/3, is situated at the Godavari Basin, Bay of Bengal, off the East Coast of India. The gas field expands over approximately 7500 km squared, located between 40 km and 60 km southwest from Kakinada, at a depth between 400 meters at North West and 2700 at 2700 at South East.

KG-DWN-98/3 consist of 18 sub-sea wells connected to 6 sub-sea manifolds, routed to Deep-water Pipe Line End Manifolds (PLEMS) – via 6-inch field pipe lines.

Two * 24-inch pipeline route the production flow from Deep-water PLEM to Control and Riser Platforms (CRP).

Three * 24-inch trunk lines carry production from CRP to Onshore Terminal. The Onshore Terminal is situated at Gadimonga at Tallaveru Mandal, about 30 km south of Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Onshore facilities shall be initially designed for 80 MMSCMD of sales gas, and subsequently expanded to 120 MMSCMD

Scope of Work involves

Primarily involved to oversee the Pressure Vessels, Mechanical Equipment and Electrical Equipment for 99 Purchase Order Work Packages, as at April 15, 2007.

Management of various Third-Party Agencies like Bureau Veritas, Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping are used, for various stage & site inspections and testing.

Verification of Approved for Fabrication Documentations, ITP, Shop Fabrication Inspections (Visual and NDT), Shop Testing, and Manufacturer's Handover Dossier.

Close out of each NCR, to the satisfaction of the Client – Reliance Industries Ltd. India.

Ensure implementation of the Site Quality Control Plan.

Ensure implementation of the HSE Plan and conduct Site Safety Audits.

Select, monitor & provide advice to Third Party - Source Inspection Agencies activities & documentation.

Select, monitor & provide advice to Third Party – Site Inspection Agencies activities & documentation.

Select, monitor & provide advice to Third Party - NDT Testing Agencies activities & documentation.

Monitor and resolve QA/QC problem areas and proposed corrective actions are satisfactorily closed out. Report findings to the Project Management Team.

Monitor and define Health, Safety and Environmental problem areas and ensure corrective actions are satisfactorily closed out, in coordination with the Project Management Team.

Verification that all HSE & QC requirements of the Contract and the relevant Owner's instructions and Regulatory requirements are executed.

Ensure that the QC Plan documentation, testing and inspection records are properly maintained

Ensure the Project Specific Quality documentation and NDT records are accurately compiled.

Vendor Assessment and related subcontract award recommendation and selection.
