Nurse navigator for 4 spine surgeons performing 300-400 surgeries per year. Responsible for pre-operative testing, medical clearances, pre-op education and multidisciplinary care coordination.

Developed the first nursing orientation program for WR Orthopaedic surgery clinic.

Works with IRMAC, Referral Management, Case Managers and VA Liaison Care Coordinators to coordinate care between services, MTF’s, and the VA for active duty, active-duty family members, retirees, foreign military, and VA patients requiring surgery and/or follow up care at Walter Reed.
