As an intake coordinator specialist working remotely from home, my responsibilities consisted of using an application called Forcura where faxes came in for home health from different various hospitals that Accentcare worked with in the United States. I distributed faxes to the proper branch in the state the patient resided in so that the patient could start home health care. Once the faxes were received by the branch, I also worked with an application called care flow which I used to input all the patient information such as patient diagnosis, disciplines needed such as physical therapy, social work, skill nursing, home health aide or occupational therapy, then would verify insurance and submit through the proper channels so the patient was accepted or denied into home health care for services.

I would interview the minor in question, his or her parent, or legal guardian to identify a potential sponsorship in the United States.
