Senior geotechnical consultant on infrastructure projects: foundations, excavations, water and tailings dams, soft soils, slopes, tunnels, harbour structures, site investigation, in situ testing, instrumentation and monitoring, etc. Former Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro for 25 years. Experience from international projects in South America, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, UK and Canada. Permanent resident of the US and Brazil. Speaks English, Spanish, German, Portuguese; some French. Strong ability to contact and make presentations to clients and to work on overseas projects. Over one hundred publications and two books in English.
