I have more than 28 years of experience in governmental, manufacturing, and industrial environments, working with diverse groups and clients. January 2022 to December 2023

I am responsible for Monitoring current supply constraints Worldwide for Kongsberg.

•Manage and attend several meetings via MS Teams to review the status of component supply on various programs.

•Update key shared tools in Teams – Alternatives Investigations, Crisis Suppliers.

•Anticipate the needs for Spot Buy inventory and work proactively to satisfy the need.

Hagemeyer North America - Charleston, SC January 2000 to October 2015

•Integrated supplier to General Motors (GM) plants located in Michigan and Texas. I was the main point of contact for day-to-day operations for GM personnel. I managed all spare parts and MRO material for 3 GM plants along with issuing purchase orders for services needed.

•I know General Motors plants well and the manufacturing environment.

•I was responsible for all Indirect material.

•Achievement- A large Cost Savings I was able to plan, and lead from parts purchased from Germany. GM didn't purchase the prints to make locally, so I led the team to reverse engineer the first year of about 200 parts achieving over $900,000.00 in cost savings (Lower inventory, no shipping charges from overseas, and shorter lead time with better control of our higher dollar parts and/or higher usage parts). We were able to populate these prints into the GM database and started purchasing locally at lower costs.

•I was responsible for training buyers and customer service representatives. I also traveled to Portland, OR to train a new branch manager and other new employees in 2014.

•Coordinating and working with suppliers in Europe.

•Achieving and documenting supplier protocols and cost reductions, warranties and repairs for all spare parts.

•Required strong communication skills to effectively work with plant managers, engineers, maintenance, union and other vendors.

•I traveled to Arlington, TX for 4 years to supervise 5 buyers located within the plant. I also was responsible for Account Management along with the Purchasing Manager duties. I would interact closely with the customer (GM) and entertain customers. I had two company credit cards, one for travel and one for purchasing ($350,000 limit).
