LEADERSHIP ROLE

Becoming captain of my step team from my sophomore year to my senior year was a great experience. We learned about hard work, dedication, and what it means to be a team. Also putting blood, sweat, and tears into not only our performances but our practices as well. There were a lot of great learning experiences, especially being a captain. I was privileged to learn excellent leading skills when it came to helping my team become one, becoming a movement, and most importantly being inspired by many others.

There was many great examples of working at Speedway especially third shift. I’ve had to take all the customers working by myself and make sure the line was a minimum capacity while also making sure Al items were stocked and faced front before my shift was over. It made me think of ways to use my time wisely when multitasking.
