● Director and chair of comprehensive professional music conservatory program operating within a research university context, averaging 20 full-time enrollments, granting Peabody degrees from the BM and BA to the GPD (graduate performance diploma) in jazz;

● Supervised academic quality, procedures, admissions, and academic administration for the jazz program, in collaboration with relevant university offices and committees;

● Hired, recruited, managed eight faculty (full and part time);

● Fostered new modes of interaction between music and technology through innovative curricular development;

● Overhauled the curriculum to enhance professional training, sheparding curricular proposals through conservatory apporval processes;

● Participated in academic governance;

● Liasied with conservatory development to facilitate a number of gifts and legacies to the school
