Methodical and pedagogical work with 1-5th year undergraduate students, composing and conducting courses in practical English, oral and written interpretation, theory of translation, intercultural communication lectures and seminars. Also responsible for supervising and mentoring students’ graduation papers (dissertations).

I have kept my personal language and communication skills updated through practice and personal development in teaching and interpretation. I have also published scientific papers for Russian and foreign journals and attended conferences and seminars worldwide. To date, I have published 40 articles and attended 23 events. I have valuable experience in teaching audiences of different ages and backgrounds. I have worked at various language courses and participated in social volunteer projects as well as several German and American research projects, devoted to children’s self-estimation and the role of women in mass media. Profound analytical skills in data analyses, international participation in research and localization (google company).

I am fond of various project work, which might be seen in the career summary: many dates overlap as I normally participate in several professional activities at the same time—both on-line and off-line. For many years, I conduct active research work and write articles on social and linguistic issues for many journals and collections all over the world, in total, more than 50 papers and books of mine are published at the moment.

Translation experience

Beside the teacher work, I have been translating actively both orally and in written form. Among the key topics I successfully work with, there are medicine and chemistry, manufacture and industry, technical manuals, fiction (published) and various humanitarian texts. Numerous examples of translations are available on demand. I’ve been teaching theory and history of translation, conducting practical seminars on translation practice.
