Also responsible for the leadership, organization and mentoring of the design department which ranged from 5 to 25, over three years. Designed and led the creative direction on many large-scale web development assignments, primarily in the area of entertainment. Focus was on visual/information design, interface design, brand building and brand extension. Worked closely with such high-profile clients as; Sony Music, Intel NY Music Festival, Elektra Records, Mercury Records, Maverick Records, Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, Hard Rock Online, Artist Direct, Warner Home Video, FX Networks and George Carlin Productions. Also had the opportunity to personally work on such musical artists’ sites as; Michael Jackson, Erasure, Van Halen, Natalie Merchant, The 3 Tenors, Tori Amos and Marcy Playground. Greatest challenge was to oversee all creative as well as manage the multi-million dollar NBC.com account, built new processes for the 35 person cross-functional, in-house NBC multimedia production team both in Los Angeles and New York City.
