AIREAS (American International Reserving, Evaluation & Aggregation System) analytical system for Actuaries across the world (a) To conduct in depth reserve analysis (b) To perform actual versus expected studies (c) To share analysis results to various internal and external audiences. SCUP & PASS (Profitability Accrual and Security System) is comprised of two major components: A series of ETL jobs which has multiple input data sources and multiple internal calculations to create relevant output files and reports. The project involves the application Development and maintenance of Claims Data Warehouse (CDW). CDW is the central data repository for various Claim processing applications. The Data warehouse is a well-designed and efficient relational database built in DB2 for storing the data from various source databases such as DB2, SQL and ORACLE. The CDW database captures the data from the various claims applications on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis depending on the refreshing mechanism followed in the source system.

Responsibilities

Designed Technical Design Documents for the requirement provided. Built Data stage jobs to read files from multiple tables using DB2 Connector stage, XML input & output stage Created Sequencers with Exception Handling and Restarting logics. This is for the BI activities required for phase 1 of the Product Postponement project. Adding extra fields Cold Grid-point, Hot Grid-point, Active Grid-point, Destination Grid-point to the db2 tables so that the new grid points are visible. Add these fields into the relevant data warehouse and using data, thirteen reports are created for calculating the total monthly, weekly and quarterly clocked hours for CORUS Contractors.
