Oversee daily production of 22 injection molding machines and 14 IML (in mold label) machines. Testing of new and sample materials, testing and qualifying of new molds, continuous improvement of cycle times and efficiency.
Key Achievements
●Process Engineer for the installation of 22 Injection Molding Machines, 14 In Mold Labeling machines, as well as all support equipment including automation.
●Oversee production ramp-up after completion of machine installation while focusing on safety. Zero loss time injuries to date and an injury rate kept within industry standard of 1.45 through 2021.
●Developed a processor mentoring class that I instructed twice a week.
●Assisted in the development of automation that reduced manpower by 66% per machine, 3 operators to 1.
