Purpose: The Customer Portal served as a self-service platform for our customers, empowering them to manage various aspects of their Brinks Home experience. These included:

Billing: Enrolling in AutoPay and adding payment methods.

Account Settings: Offering contract extension options, Brinks Home Plus warranty enrollment, and assistance for customers moving to a new house.

System Control: Allowing customers to arm the system, add equipment, and test their security setup.

Delivered Functionality some examples:

Assistance with Moving to Another House:

Functionality: We implemented a seamless process for customers relocating to a new residence. This involved presenting different service and equipment packages to users.

Technical Details: Dynamic API integration with a third-party system enabled real-time package options. The customer’s selection was then sent back via API.

Customer Returns:

Functionality: To enhance user experience, we digitized the manual process for handling returns of past orders.

Impact: This streamlined the return process, reducing the time and effort required for both customers and support teams.

Contract Extension:

Functionality: Integrating an external system API, we provided customers with personalized contract extension offers.

Process: The API presented various contract options, and the user’s selection was captured via a newly created API
