Medical Technologist The Medi Center Nassau, Bahamas My duties included daily lab operations, clerical and data management. I made a monthly schedule, ordered reagents and supplies for nursing and the laboratory department, performed monthly inventory, liaised with suppliers, engineers, and physicians. Additionally, ensured annual maintenance was performed; ran internal and external quality controls, and maintained quality insurance. Performed daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on all analyzers. I established an external quality control program, wrote procedural manuals for staff to follow and a standard operating procedure manual. I also worked in all five areas of clinical laboratory, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Immunology. I processed and analyzed blood, urine, and stool samples, and reported accurate results to respective physicians in a timely manner.
