OBJECTIVE: Seasoned veteran with 35 years experience in all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance. Dedicated to the profitability of production machinery via analytical troubleshooting and repair. BRIEF SYNOPSIS: The Air Force training I received in 1985 as an Aircraft Avionics Technician initiated my career in Maintenance. That, and the following entries almost entirely entail similar functions, industrial manufacturing processes, and technical innovations, to include: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Robotics, Electrical/Electronics, CNC/PLC, Machine Shop, Welding, & all aspects of facility maintenance. RELEVANT SKILLS:

Proven track record as a self-starter; worked unsupervised as a Field Service Technician, determined cause/solution/actions as a Maintenance Technician. Daily practice of self-management and time-mgt. skills; managed as many as 30 soldiers. Trained new machine operators and maintenance techs.

Electrical/Electronics: read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, program ladder; diagnose/program PLC, CNC, VFD’s; repair integrated circuitry down to component level; run conduit, pull wire, install/ calibrate transformers; Ink-Jet, Zebra printers, DeVilbiss electrostatic powdercoat paint systems; sonic, vibratory, & laser cutting system; calibrate/repair X-Ray scanning equipment; AC/DC, Stepper, Servo.

Robotics: troubleshoot/maintain/repair up to 7-axis robots (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman), re-teach program points/recalibrate; pick & place robots (Pana-Robo, Tanaki); robotic welders; rewire Fanuc 7-axis.

Hydraulics/Pneumatics: read schematics; presses up to 6000 tons, 40 ton shears/brakes; air-logic banks; rebuild hydr./pneu. cylinders; Autoclave systems for windshield compression & tire vulcanization.

Machine Shop/Welding: proficient on mill, lathe, and surface grinder; design, fabricate, and repair with mig and stick welder; can read welding/fabrication blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Facility: daily H2O analysis and treatment; maintain/rebuild steam generator; troubleshoot/maintain and repair rooftop AC units, exhaust fans, air scrubber, heating, plumbing, roll-up doors, dock plates, mat’l. handling equipment (completed Caterpillar forklift repair training); experienced on Combi-Lift.

Proactive: created and implemented preventative maintenance procedures and checklist for over 30 different machines; used sound analysis in preventative maintenance utilizing spectrometer reports to forestall catastrophic motor & bearing downtime by 60%; countless hours of ISO 9000/9001, Six-Sigma/TQM training and brainstorming sessions, KanBan & Visual Workplace events.

Administrative: completion of Microsoft Office 2013 training program (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Access). Bridgestone & Allied Signal utilized barcoded inventory/quality control tracking systems; as a result, often times resolved receive/transmit, modem, and LAN issues. EMPLOYMENT:
