Set-up, primed Nexsys PCS using the plasmapheresis system. Using a 17 gauge needle for Venipunctures, removing blood from donor which is mixed with anticoagulant to prevent the blood from clotting during the procedure. The blood is then directed into a bowl which is Centrifuge to separate the plasma. After the plasma target have been reached then the blood is returned to donor along with 500ml of saline for dehydration.
