Set-up, primed Nexsys PCS using the plasmapheresis system. Using a 17 gauge needle for Venipunctures, removing blood from donor which is mixed with anticoagulant to prevent the blood from clotting during the procedure. The blood is then directed into a bowl which is Centrifuge to separate the plasma. After the plasma target have been reached then the blood is returned to donor along with 500ml of saline for dehydration. Identified all technical complications and Donors also take blood sample and collect into correct tubes, dated and documented to send to lab for testing etc. HOME HEALTH AIDE New York, N.Y 2018 – 2021
