At LS City Transport I was a truck driver and I was in charge of driving a beautiful 2009 Peterbilt 388

I was responsible to maintain it in my daily routes, I would do proper pre trip inspections and

I would make sure it had enough fuel for the work day I would make sure I was always on time at thejobsite that I was working in and I always made sure to leave on time when delivering material I woulddeliver dirt, rock, sand, to asphalt, mulch, cement If there was ever a time that it needed to be workedon the truck I would tell the boss and he would give me the contact of the mechanic and I would takeit there at the end of the day

On my days off I would go to the truck to give it quick details and makesure it was clean on the inside

I understood that taking care of the equipment was everything, I treatedit as if it were my office as I would literally be there all day I would also work overnight shifts whenavailable, sometimes they were jobsites near by and sometimes they were jobsites 2-3 hours away so I would schedule accordingly

At Clay Cooley VW of Park Cities I was the inventory manager I was in charge of keeping the lot clean and all the cars organized Thanks to this job i became fairly familiar with cars and the issues they might haveand how to resolve them

Inside the dealership I would sweep and mop and try to keep everything clean,we had coffee machines and I would fill them up and clean them out once a week as well as refill our mini fridges that had beverages for customers I would put vehicles inside of the showroom and arrange them in order and if any customers had any questions about them I knew the product so I would talk to them about it and then send them to one of our sales specialist I would refill the mangers offices with paper and ink for the printers and any other supplies that they needed

When a salesman made a sale to a customer that needed their vehicle delivered to them they would send me, when I would deliver the vehicle I made sure it was clean and detailed and with a tank full of gas

They would also send me on dealer trades which would require for us to trade vehicles with another dealership and these dealerships could be in anywhere in Texas and I knew the importance of getting these vehicles and making sure that drove safe and responsible

If a customer needed their car dropped off and it would be out of state, they would send me and I usually had a flight back to Dallas or if the customer had a car they would trade in then I would bring that one back.

This was my uncles upholstery company and I was learning the business and helping around wherever they needed me

I would help move furniture and helped deliver it our customers We would use all type of tools to properly move and secure the furniture for example we would use all types of dollies or pallet jacks to move the furniture and then use ratchet straps and blankets or plastic to protect and hold the furniture in the box truck

When we weren't delivering furniture I would keep myself busy by organize the shop in the front whether it be by cleaning or organizing the showroom When I was done there I would go to the back and clean the workshop or assist anyone that needed a hand either lifting or helping them by bringing them materials.
