Business Office Liaison – Responsibilities include “go between” from Corporate to local level CEO with regard to business office affairs. Reconciliation of the patient census in order to ensure accuracy of admits, transfers, discharges and deaths. Maintain information on company web-based reporting system for company wide coverage. Maintaining “Length of Stay” reports daily to confirm the accuracy between the Corporate Office, Case Management Team and Insurance Case Management Team. Management of all patient charges daily for the entire facility to include all respiratory, nursing, rehab, rentals, lab, telemetry, dialysis, radiology, special procedures and host acute charges. Maintain emergency transportation, treatment room, and dialysis logs to reconcile against patient fees. Communication with Host and/or ALL Acute partners for services received for RegencyHospital patients by outside sources. Creation and submission of all financial agreements for new Host and Acute facilities and acquisition of all patient charges from contracted Acute facilities and calculate reimbursement to these facilities. Rate factoring “Medicare Allowable” reimbursement to ALL Host/Acute facilities for monthly reimbursement. Reconcile All vendor statements to patient accounts and/or logs. Maintains good public relations with internal, as well as external, customers that serve the best interest of Regency Hospital Company. Make routine inspections of data to ensure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed. Audit ALL daily charge reports, census and reporting to CEO. Review and approval on AlL vendor invoices for payment in accordance with established vendors. Perform quality assurance checks on pertinent documents. Monthly chart and charge audits on random patient files required by Corporate Vice President of Business Operations. Preparation of records in accordance with detailed instructions. The creation of written and oral daily financial reports to the Hospital CEO. Working directly with the Hospital CEO and Corporate Office Vice President of Business Operations to resolve issues and conflicts related to Business Office functions.
