Roles:

Core Room Technician for Core Machines 5 & 6

Core Room Technician for Core Machine 11

Responsibilities:

Communicate and document machine issues with overlapping crew.

Understand what our department critical risks are and validate that the controls in place are adequate.

Have knowledge of and understand our mill value drivers and how they work.

Understand and apply MBM principals to my daily job duties.

Apply MBM guiding principles to your job to create long term value.

Complete all CBT safety training and quarterly safety classes.

Perform quality checks every 30 minutes to ensure non-conforming products are not shipped to customer.

Follow thru with my IDP on getting a more in-depth knowledge & understanding of all aspects of the video jet printers used for my core machines.

Expectations:

Identify risks and once they are identified do everything to confirm they are mitigated.

Know and align with our mill quality and reliability vision.

Be at my machine by 6:50 ready to work.

Make sure clean-up is done daily.

Make sure printer heads are cleaned daily.

Align with & promote SQF.

Continue to remain the primary back-up source for the Kirkland Signature machines.

Develop my skills & continue to be the operator in all aspects of running & troubleshooting core machines 5, 6 & 11.

Authorities:

I have the Authority to intervene and stop any unsafe acts or conditions.

I have the Authority to shut my equipment down for quality issues or concerns.

I have the Authority to respectfully challenge.
