DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICE TECHNICIAN III JULY 2013 – NOVEMBER 2023 As an Office Technician III, I would perform a variety of secretarial, clerical and general office assistant duties. Work involved answering telephone calls, making appointments, greeting the public, giving information for immunizations, family planning, tuberculosis, Nurse Family Partnership program, Children with Special Health Care Needs program and Social Worker needs. • Using computerized data entry equipment and various word processing programs and maintenance programs to enter, store and retrieve information as requested or necessary.

• Processed incoming and outgoing mail to proper recipient.

• Filed charts, faxes and made copies of all documents.

• Received and processed payments from clients.

• Maintained cash drawer

• Screened clients to check for Medicaid eligibility and demographics.

• Prepared clinical paperwork for nurses.

• Made copies of Immunization records and/or printed Immunization records for clients.

• Performed other related duties as required.

• Data entry using several computerized programs.

• Answered phones and directed clients to the nurses as needed.
