Meet individually or in small groups to explain rules of grammar and syntax and clarify work requirements, reinforce and supplement learning goals through use of DVDs and audio tapes, and provide remedial instruction as necessary. Identify top performers, granting them freedom to progress at their own pace while allowing them to gain confidence by assisting others in need through peer-to-peer instruction.
