SUMMARY

I am a rounded communications professional who has worked in public affairs, crisis management, employee engagement and journalism.

I am known for being tactical, technical, and strategic. My breadth and capacity have seen me lead, manage, and execute the gamut of communications programmes, with strong affinity for use of technology tools and software to achieve efficient, cutting-edge outcomes.

Between 2004 and 2018, I either led or was a key member of teams at the Caribbean Development Bank. Apart from my substantive role as a communications lead, I was also deeply involved in staff relations.

Prior to working at the Caribbean Development Bank, I was a regional journalist with the Caribbean News Agency (CANA) and subsequently CaribVision. I also hosted a morning current affairs programme on CBC television, Barbados.

I was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, grew up in Trinidad and Tobago, studied in Jamaica, and worked across the world from my base in Barbados before migrating to the United States in 2021.

Outside of communications, I am a keen tennis player, a dog lover, and a multi-instrumentalist who has played solo or with bands on the trumpet, saxophone, and trombone.
