TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participation in Project Architecture definition in order to identify the simplest Intercompany Scheme to achieve best results.

• Elaborate: The consolidated cost Breakdown Structure on the basis of The Commercial Budget, Available feedback from Similar Projects, Risk Profile, and Feedback to Commercial Department. Achieve a recast of the Commercial Budget in the established CBS and issue of The Control Budget as per internal Procedures.

• Review the Procurement / Accounting System adopted in each Operating Company of the Project to verify the application of the CBS and proper Cost traceability (from Purchase Requests to Accounted Invoices)

• Identify the number / skill of Cost Control resources necessary to Control the project.

• Input the Cost Breakdown Structure in IBIS (SAP) by entity/job number to allow start of Procurement / accounting activities.

• Ensure effective working of Cost Control System and sound assessment and reporting of cost status during the execution phase.

• Ensure proper application of Cost Coding System AND complete and correct information flow.

• Revise the control budget (revenues and Costs) with all agreed changes and the necessary internal transfers.

• Monitor Subcontracts and other significant items; progress and the value of work done against invoices received, determining the monthly accruals (to have accounts in line with work progress)
