Work Duties:

Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials and equipment. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Receiving and Distribution: Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality standards. Organize and distribute supplies to various departments or units within the organization. Maintain accurate records of received items and distribute accordingly.

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing supply chain and inventory management. Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices.

Customer Service:

Aid and support internal departments or units regarding supply-related inquiries. Address and resolve issues related to supply chain management in a timely manner.

Emergency Preparedness:

Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency situations to ensure a continuous supply of critical materials. Supply Technicians are integral to the efficient operation of healthcare facilities within the VA system, ensuring that necessary supplies and equipment are available to support the delivery of quality healthcare services to veterans.

Continually discussed any issues relating to supplies, equipment, and procedures with the Lead or Supervisor

Dropped off medical supplies in accordance with specifications in computerized inventory management systems.

Cleaned designated secondary areas using aseptic principles to stop the spread of COVID-19

Acquiring supply equipment in accordance with policies, rules, and regulations, which include managing Omni suppliers and making adjustments for reconciliations to take inventory control, equipment inventory control, and equipment tracking into account.

Scanning, barcoding, printing labels, equipment distribution, pulling ticket orders, an inventory control experience.

Maintain effective customer service techniques and ensure quality service responds quickly to sustained efficient results for patient demands. Clearly explained the major and secondary levels for disposal to the helping employees. Manages Omni supplier's hardware problems and, if necessary, gets rid of extra stock. Verify that all barcode labels are accurate and up to date in order to identify every item.

Review and keep an accurate inventory of RME medical equipment, including isolation carts, latex allergy carts, crash carts, and other related items.

Experience in generating Omni suppliers, barcoding, printing labels, equipment distribution, pulling ticket orders, and inventory control.

Had a wall-to-wall inventory audit experience due to monitoring precise levels and amounts in accordance with department needs. Capable of supplying faculty-specific shortages and recalls. Effective in laying out a storage space to create inventory space or remove items.
