Audit of mid to large size corporations with foreign affiliates.

Audit issues developed in the area of taxation of international transactions such as transfer pricing, Tax treaties, Advanced Pricing Agreements (APA), foreign tax credits, foreign exchange rates, foreign personal holding companies, deemed dividend inclusions under Subpart F, foreign sales corporations (FSC), Stapled Entities, Domestic Production Activities Deduction (DPAD), foreign mergers and acquisitions, sourcing of income and expense allocations under IRC § 861 & 863, & IRC §367 asset transfers, Dual Consolidated Losses, Cost Sharing, analysis of consolidated and consolidating financial data and review and analysis of intercompany transactions between US and foreign subsidiaries..

Duties & requirements of the position include development, resolution & reporting for audit issues, extensive meetings and dealings with taxpayers, case managers, industry specialists, accountants, attorneys, economists Competent Authority (domestic & foreign). Also prepared Advanced Pricing Agreements and Pre-filing agreements.

Audit process required the extensive use of computers and Microsoft Office software including advanced use of excel. In addition, duties required management skills since on large cases I assume the position of audit case coordinator (audit project leader).

Revenue Agent (Large case Audit Specialist) – (8/01/1987 to 7/09/1996)

Audit of mid to large size corporations.

Audit issues developed consisted of variety of domestic tax issues.

Corporations audited were in industries such as pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, semiconductors and microprocessors, public utilities, shipbuilding, wholesalers and distributors, and agriculture.
