Technical Manager - Stress Analysis

Project: Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design and Detail Design of Front Fuselage, Rear Fuselage and Vertical Tail of multi-role patrol aircraft MPA3 (PIAGGIO ITALY) 02/12 – 11/12

QuEST Global Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Bangalore, India

Project Leader - Stress Analysis

First Project: Corrosion repair substantiation of the Outer Fan Duct (OFD) on the AS907 engine The worked involved was corrosion repair substantiation of the Outer Fan Duct (OFD) on the AS907 engine installed on the BD-100 aircraft. The allowable material that can be removed at critical locations of OFD flanges, skin and bolts based on static analysis report and fatigue analysis report. This produced as additional information to Engine Light Maintenance Manual. The allowable reduction in thickness is calculated based on the nominal dimensions for positive margin of safety (>0.01) and allowable fatigue life of 75000 cycles. For components which do not satisfy the above-mentioned criteria the part should be replaced.

Second Project: Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis of Landing gear Hinge Door of A380 A investigation on failure of landing gear Hinge Door of A380 on MSN001 has been carried out, a detail stress and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis has been carried out. Third Project: A350 Rear Spar Repair and FE Static and Dynamic validation Report In GFEM model of A350 wing the rear spar repair by fine meshing in the area of interest and padding it to give extra strength.

03/07-02/12

CADES Digitech Pvt. Limited

Bangalore, India

Asst. Technical Manager - Stress Analysis

First Project: Hydraulic and Fuel Tube Interface load calculations and stress analysis for Boeing 787.

Different piping circuits are modeled in PATRAN by importing IGES input generated by CATIA V5 and analysis is performed in MSC Nastran. To meet the Initial design criteria, considering simple beam analysis, maximum constrain forces at the clamp locations and ends are determined at different load cases for fuel lines. Incase of hydraulic lines, distributed load is applied to determine the clamp forces.

Second Project: Design and Stress Analysis of Light Combat Aircraft (Indian, Tejas) Detail Stress analysis of Stubwing and Levcon of Light Combat Aircraft (Indian, Tejas), by using fem based software Nastran/Patran and Hand calculations. Third Project: Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis of C- 295 0f EADS CASA (Spain) Fourth Project: Sensitivity Analysis of the influence of Temperature gradient on the Over speed and Burst speed margin of a Gas Turbine Disc (HPT) The assessment of the Over Speed and Burst Speed margin of a Gas Turbine Disc which influenced by several factors like Stress, Strain, Temperature, average stress, average temperature, peak stress or peak temperature. One should have to control these parameters other words that yields to failure of Engine, so one has to take care these parameters in designing of a Gas Turbine Disc to ensure the safe operation of the Engine.

Fifth Project: Stress Concession

Working extensively on the Stress Concession for the Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas Aircraft) and the Vertical Tail & Horizontal Tail of the Saras Aircraft Sixth Project: Alenia Rudder and Elevator Design

Detail Design & Stress Analysis of Rudder and Elevator Brackets Seventh Project: GECI A400M

Detail Stress analysis of Pipes and Brackets of Hydraulic System of A400M 07/06-09/06

Bishop GmbH, Hamburg, Germany
