PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess 4 years of experience in CNC Machinist with proficiency in G-Code and M-Code and knowledge of materials and their properties.

Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges properly.

Experienced in working with lathe machinery that is used to rotate a piece against a cutting tool to remove material as well as program libraries.

Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in all types of environments.

Possess a combination of technical knowledge, practical skills, and personal attributes to operate CNC machines effectively and efficiently.

Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, preventive maintenance, use of hand tools precision measurement, use of different gauges, lean manufacturing bench work skills, safe operating procedures, hazardous material identification, documentation & reporting, and strong leadership skills.

Proficiently read and interpret work orders, routing instructions, technical drawings, layout sheets, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate completion of tasks.

Set up and adjust machine controls to accurately regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.

Knowledge of the materials and the machining process to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor machine performance during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues.

Quickly troubleshoot and resolve any issues by adjusting machine controls, using a variety of gauges such as GO/NO-GO, thread, deep, thumb, air, and straightness gauges to ensure precision and quality in the final product.
