6) Nanny and Governess for a Private Family from USA with four children (G2. B6 and Newborn Twin Boys) (May 2011-July 2014). Moved back to USA.

7) Full time Mother Support/Full time Nanny/Maternity nanny from Birth to 4 years old Girl (July 2002-Aug 2006), Ilford Essex

Taking care of the New Born baby’s daily needs, including washing, cleaning, stimulating her different senses as part of her development with different activities (following Dolto’s Philosophy and her approach, similar to Montessori) feeding (sterilizing her bottles, keeping her room tidy and clean, ironing her cloths, weaning, potty training…)

Providing emotional support for the single mum too.

Attending family learning sessions in the local area, such as yoga, ceramic class, First Aid, Calligraphy and drawing with Mum and baby.

My main duties as Nanny/Maternity-Nanny for those Families were:

●Creating a safe, caring nurturing and stimulating environment in which children thrive and develop.

●Bathing and dressing the kids.

●Changing diapers and potty training, if age-appropriate.

●Doing the children’s laundry.

●Planning and preparing healthy meals for the kids and then feeding them depending on the age.

●Supporting and confident in weaning and unprocessed baby food, potty training and language development.

●Arranging play dates and routines

●Indoor and outdoor play

●Educational activities and crafts

●Liaising with teachers, and Administration Tasks (Specifically done for the Spanish Family)

●Reading to the children

●Help with homework

●Organizing bedrooms/toys, and keeping them clean

●Administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary (Allergies), ADHD, AS (Autism Syndromes).

●Maintaining logs for the parents

●Light housekeeping, sometimes Cooking for the Family (according to their requests)

●Aim to help children grow in self-awareness in order to make good choices for themselves

●Play and Creativity help the Brain to develop and encourage children to think outside the box
