In the shipping department I would pick my assigned lines for the day and sort the items that fit in the corresponding box for the dealer. I had to pack out any big car parts separately and at the end of the day we close out all of the boxes and totes for the dealers.

I had two duties in the shipping department. One of the duties I was in charge of was operating a tape machine and taping all of the boxes that came down the conveyor line. The second duty was loading the trailer with the boxes in an organized way and then load a few pallets towards the end.

Assemble and test water pumps. Make sure there is no damage or defects on parts. Handle paint equipment and prep work in an efficient manner. Keep spray nozzles clean and presentable. Refill paint barrels and record paint filter readings.
