EXPERIENCE

Site Director– Paws for Purple Hearts, San Antonio, Texas March 2023 – March 2024 In this role, I was a program and operations director for a nonprofit organization providing canine-assisted therapy to disabled veterans throughout Texas. In this capacity, I was routinely and independently responsible for the following:

● Leading the development of as well as independently developing a minimum viable product plan including methodology, resource requirements, timelines, priorities, and budget impact. The purpose of this plan was to streamline volunteer needs and reduce strain on program staff.

● Implementing, executing, and monitoring a budget of over $500k with a staff of five interdisciplinary individuals, and restrategizing purchasing habits thereby successfully ending the fiscal year 15% below budget target.

● Leading the site to surpass its initial fundraising goal by over 84% due to personal oversight of the organization’s budget management and donor development. In this capacity I was directly responsible for directing and performing budget planning, communications planning, stakeholder management, and professional networking.

● Setting up a site continuity plan, restructured safety protocols, created a field trip usage plan for program instructors to meet budget, established a marketing plan, and developed strong community partners.

● Leading the analysis upon onboarding to determine facility needs, and identifying key resources within the staff to take on various aspects of the projects I intended to implement.

Program Manager – MAC Office of Bexar, San Antonio,Texas June 2022 - August 2022 I developed functional program pathways for administration of attorney assignments and distribution of over 26,000 cases annually to approximately 300 panel attorneys. In this role, at the Managed Assigned Counsel Office I was responsible for leading the strategic planning and establishment of goals and objectives for the program, data analysis, and the administration of the vouchers system. In this position, I was independently and collaboratively responsible for the following:

● Leading the development of functional paths and vet vendors and determining software requirements to administer assignments, issue payments, and validate expenses.

● Implementing and monitoring vendor RFIs, RFPs, and vendor contracts of up to

$100k individually.

● Strategizing and organizing the establishment of program goals and objectives to meet the needs of multi-level stakeholders and clients.

● Performing complex data analysis, developing a novel database, and developing and maintaining relationships across multiple levels of administrative and political positions.

Program Director – Meals on Wheels, San Antonio, Texas November 2018 - July 2019 I removed barriers to staff resulting in a reduction in intake-to-meal time, clerical errors, and a reduction in client-facing paperwork.
