HSE -Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor & continuously improve the HSE Management System (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) in line with corporate requirements for Cummins Qatar.

• Assists with the application of engineering and administrative controls via the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) to reduce the environmental impacts and safety risks associated with site operations.

• Understands the regulations applicable at the site and is abreast of current emissions control technologies, safety controls and management and response practices.

• Identify, develop & deliver HSE training on a wide variety of topics for different levels of employees in the organization.

• Lead & support on developing CQ Legal register & Compliance audit through third party and action plan for implementation.

• Provide the HSE Technical Support for the construction works related to facility modification and new plant startup operations at Qatar.

• Work directly with the leadership teams to align our strategies and continuously improve HSE culture.

• Review and approve CQ’s contractor HSE plans / Method Statements, Risk assessments, Drawings, Certifications etc. & ensure the compliance of Contractors with CQ HSE requirements.

• Lead the incident investigation team to meet corporate & local incident reporting requirements, identify corrective and preventive actions for the root causes, provide detailed investigation reports.

• Lead the Site HSE Committee meetings to address various HSE related issues and enable the two-way communication between the management and employees.
