My name is Anteneh Tefera, and I work as the MEAL and Program Director at WhizKids Workshop (WKW). WKW is a social enterprise that was established in Ethiopia back in 2005. Currently, I'm leading a project called Ifaa or Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) in East Hararghe, which is funded by USAID/BHA where CRS is a fund recipient and HCS is prime implementer of the project. In this project, WKW is the SBC technical partner. Additionally, I lead and work on various SBCC projects and MEAL funded by EU, DEG, and Ignite Africa. Education and Certifications

In 2020, I obtained my PhD in Mathematics Education from Addis Ababa University. I have also acquired several certificates from reputable institutions, including a Project Management Certificate and Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Certificate from Addis Ababa University, Commerce College of Business, and Philanthropy University. Furthermore, I hold certificates in Motivational Leadership, Gender M&E, ECD, Integrated ECD, and a Higher Diploma Program Certificate.

Professional Experience

Prior to my current role at WKW, I served as a lecturer and researcher at Dire Dawa University since 2009. During this time, I gained valuable experience in various positions. Additionally, I worked for FriendsUnited (FU) Foundation, an international non-governmental organization (NGO) of German origin, as a Program Director for approximately two years. FU implemented programs in partnership with national and international organizations such as Child Fund and Halvetas, focusing on female orphan care in Debre Markos. Accomplishments and Expertise

Throughout my career, I have consistently made significant contributions to various organizations. I have been involved in project proposal development, planning, and execution, as well as the design and production of SBCC materials. I have provided training on SBCC and HCD, led research teams, and collaborated with primer partners like CRS and implementing partners like HCS and GOAL Ethiopia to develop robust SBCC M&E tools. Additionally, I am meticulous in reporting and excel in fostering strong partnerships for effective program planning, management, and implementation. My diverse technical and administrative responsibilities have facilitated program development, progress monitoring, outcome evaluation, and reporting. Research and Publications

In addition to my professional career, I have actively participated in scientific research across various areas of expertise. Including reviewing articles and participation. Management and Leadership

1. Engage with WKW leadership to develop and implement project plans. 2. Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with established plans 3. MEAL System Development

1. Take the lead in creating the MEAL plan, including defining performance indicators. 2. Design standard operating procedures (SOP) and develop MEAL tools for SBCC activities. 3. Conduct regular assessments to assess the quality of data at all levels. 4. Utilize appropriate quality control trackers to monitor data quality. WORK EXPERIENCE
