Present Armonk, NY / Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer role project management.
Coordinated and supported all multimedia events at the GCL, including retired Executive’s office, for IBM and customer clients. Leveraged with other service departments, e.g., Business Conference Services, IT, Event Planners, Roadshow Coordinators and Relationship Managers, for successful completion of large-scale events and conferences. Produced all large-scale VIP in-house (example: IBM Board of Directors support) and off-site events including budgeting and invoicing. Provided training to new hires on procedures and standards for the Executive floors, auditoriums, and conference rooms throughout the campus. Reporting to a Project Manager or higher, the Associate Project Manager (APM) provides both task-based assignments and, under supervision, support limited project level management for capital projects and initiatives, from conceptualization through design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close out.
The Associate Project Manager shall effectively complete all assigned project assignments, take
direction from supervisor(s) on soft projects and department initiatives associated with the engineering, design, and construction department goals. Using project management tools and techniques, the Associate Project Manager shall coordinate project scope, schedule and budget requirements with the Planning and Operations departments, design consultants and Contractors.
With guidance and direction from supervisors, the Associate Project Manager will lead projects of
diverse scope requiring an understanding of current business trends, construction techniques,
innovative project delivery methods, thorough knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire
protection, core and shell construction as well as rigor in compliance, and the highest standard of care.
A self-starting, achievement-oriented focus that fosters a productive team environment while driving
projects to successful completion is essential.

Reports project status, financial project controls regularly to supervisor(s) and department head.
Performs project management for engineering, design, construction, renovation and facilities
related projects.
Monitors design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in
accordance with corporate standards and contractual agreements that is compliant to schedule
and budget requirements.
Establishes and maintains highly complex project budgets, cash flow analyses, and cost
estimates, as well as reviews purchase orders, change orders, and invoices with significant
impact on the success of company operations.
Identifies and addresses areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risks.
Develops, monitors, and maintains project schedules. Ensures that project objectives with
regard to time are met.
Maintains client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships. Manages conflict resolution.
Communicates highly complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others,
often at executive leadership levels, to adopt a different point of view.
Evaluates, develops and selects standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for Facilities Project Management skills and career development. Provides guidance, direction, and instruction in Facilities Project Management to less experienced team members and colleagues.
Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer role will be responsible for project management, design, implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions. Experience with AV monitoring, management, and configuration systems, especially Crestron Fusion and XiO
Experience with programming Crestron equipment, especially Crestron processors and in-room panels
Training and experience servicing Video Teleconference equipment
Cisco Codec; Crestron Flex, Flex, Fusion, Toolbox, Amplifiers, Reservation Panels, Processors and switches; Biamp DSP; Shure; Microsoft Teams MTR; Matrix switchers
Strong Understanding of AV programming languages and tools such as Crestron Toolbox & Studio, SIMPL, SimplWindows, VT Pro-E GUI
Duties and Responsibilities
· Gather requirements, design, project manager, deploy, and support video conferencing and AV solutions for conference rooms and specialty environments
· Manage the activities of AV integration vendors on projects and break fix services, including but not limited to, review and approve proposals, validate drawings, and ensure installation is in accordance with Apple standards.
· Perform regular health checks and proactive monitoring to ensure AV systems are operating at optimal conditions
· Troubleshoot technical issues and drive timely resolution to maintain operational excellence
· Develop feedback loop to appropriately adapt AV systems in response to evolving design, business, and operational needs
· Partner with other Apple teams to ensure AV solutions align with security and networking standards
Key Qualifications
· Deep expertise and strong awareness of current trends in video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Extron preferred)
· Experienced in AV project management interfacing with internal partners and external vendors across multiple projects and geographies
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide range of design, construction, and technology specialists
· Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts
· Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time
· Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools
· Strong customer focus and able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)
· Excellent hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
· Personal sense of accountability
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Collaborated in the studio by doing live and recorded TV hits with multiple business news channels. Assisted clients with live webcast, streaming media, IT issues and PowerPoint presentations amongst other, in different events or venues.
