My name is Robin Wood I graduated in **** from Miller High School. I also graduated from Tri County Career center in 1995 with a degree in Cosmetology. I went on working as a beautician for about 7 years, in that seven years time I also received my Manager’s license. While I was in high school I worked at McDonald’s in New Lexington Ohio and the local Dairy Queen at six mile turn. In my 2 years at McDonald’s I went from regular employee to crew chief and onto manager. After I left the those 2 careers I went into factory work to have health insurance for my children at the time. I worked at Lear Inc. for several years until they shut down. Every winter working at Lear they would layoff as they were an automotive parts supplier and that would slow down in the winter, so I would work through Kelly temp. Agency to gain employment through other companies. I worked at a box factory in Zanesville and I worked at Auto zone factory in Zanesville. In that time I also worked at Anchor Hocking glass factory. Once they shut down i took some time off raising my 4 children. Then went to schooling to become a bus driver. I received my class B CDL and began driving school buses for southern local schools. I drove for them for a little over 2 years, I ended up with some health issues and had to quit because bus driving was to stressful for me. I then went to work for Woodys Lawncare in 2015. While at Woodys I learned to operate zero turn mower’s and weedeaters and drive a truck pulling the mower’s on a trailer. I managed my own crew and took care of our payroll and plowed snow for other businesses. This past winter we didn’t have any work so I regained employment at Anchor Hocking glass for 2 months and discovered it was temporary for the Christmas season. I then went to work at Mt. Aloysius in New Lexington Ohio as a Dietitian. I worked there from November 6th 2023- March 8th 2024 and then quit because I was working too many hours there and not enough time off. I also had to work 5 weeks in a row to get a weekend off. In my almost 30 years of adulthood I’ve been growing 2 huge gardens myself every year and canning my own food for that period of time as well and think that I could be a benefit to your facility.
