Employment History: My most rewarding work experiences have been part-time and volunteer in addition to my full-time employment. Dallas Sod and Grass February 2020 to June 2020: I was asked to come help just as Covid started. My duties were to man the office, sell grass, move some around, help with accounts payable and receivable. Once my nephew found a full time person I was free to come home.

Once I returned home, I worked with Fresh Market, and then joined the YMCA as a membership concierge.

Jim Quist and Associates, Dallas, TX 1978 until 1990. Seasonal Showroom Manager with one of the largest high-end apparel merchants of the Dallas Apparel Market. It was my pleasure to supervise and maintain the efficiency of over 30 part-time employees and 10 maintenance employees. Along with my team, we also scheduled and coordinated appointments for over 100 buyers from apparel stores across the country while introducing them to new lines of fashion apparel.

Lou Smith and Henry S. Miller, Realtors, Dallas, TX 1980 to 1987. Began my commercial real estate career leasing office space, retail space, warehouse, and showroom. Negotiated lease agreements and space requirements.

Prior to joining Lou Smith Realtors, I developed subdivisions with Spring Creek Investments, managed advertising campaigns with The Richard’s Group, and was an assistant that became a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch Investments.
