3/2000 - 6/2011 Health Unit Coordinator Harrison Medical Center I used my skills to report and record any abnormal Lab or patient report to the nurse manager or the RN, performed highly complex tests on clinical specimens for diagnostic purposes, verified all the information in the patient chart was up to date and correct, created new orders in the Laboratory inventory data systems (LIMS), operated office equipment such as copiers and fax machines, looked up information in the computer systems, assisted doctors with discharge sheets, and helped the Nurse Manager with bed placement and the daily schedules. I answered phones and provided strong customer service skills and helped family members with their needs.
