Lead Cyber Security Team American Electric Power – AEP.

I led the Customer Data Privacy and Protection initiative at AEP, collaborating closely with the Data Management Systems (DMS) and High-Value Asset (HVA) teams. The DMS team connected with various systems containing customer information, and we utilized IBM AI Cloud Pack for Data to systematically analyze and classify fields according to state-specific laws. Our goal was to onboard systems with strict adherence to Customer Privacy and Protection laws as well as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) for US and EU.

In the Customer Rights Requests Fulfillment project, I collaborated with third-party vendors like Axiom and Experian for customer verification. This involved developing concepts, designing screens, and implementing a systematic approach to fulfill customer privacy requests in strict accordance with the law. The project successfully delivered an efficient and legally compliant mechanism for addressing customer privacy requirements.

Within various team endeavors, I played a pivotal role leveraging Organizational Change Management expertise. My focus was on fostering effective communication and preparedness for transformative changes, including areas such as Data Retention, Documentum, BCSI Investigations, and Document Classification.
