Payroll duties are what I do as the
General Manager. I make sure all
breaks are taken and that overtime
is accounted for.
Along with commission based
employee’s, my job is to make sure
all their numbers are correct and
add up.
As the GM for Dogtown it was my
responsibility to cut payroll down
20% due to economic issues and
with a low staff. I was able to
accomplish this goal
Teaching a team about the payroll
numbers was my responsibility. I
made sure my team knew that in
order to make our payroll budget
staff couldn’t be over budget and if
they were we would discuss a plan
to get hours lower before the pay
period.
I am a big believer on teamwork and
that is what it takes to make things
happen
