Human Resources Director

• Lead the HR Operations Team – HR Administration, Payroll, HR Technology, and Compliance – in delivering optimized processes and technology that is foundational to the full employee lifecycle.

• Develop strategic operational plans that align with company goals and enable REI to provide an exceptional employee experience.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance productivity.

• Scope, evaluate, implement, and enhance the necessary HR technology and tools to help the business effectively manage future growth and complexity.

• Own, develop, and update HR policies and employee handbook.

• Ensure HR and payroll compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Design and execute comprehensive payroll systems and operations that ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees.

• Maintain operational infrastructure, including standard operating procedures, job aids, service level agreements, and record retention.

• Serves as the agency’s workforce development coordinator; coordinates trainings for the employees, management, and staff; trainings or coordinates training for leadership team on human resource management pertinent to their job.

• Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function. Serve as a trusted advisor to Executive leadership and the implementation of HR projects, policy and procedures, employee relations, employee engagement, and leadership development.

• Committee Chair for the Health & Safety Team to maintain compliance as it relates to CARF standards and maintaining strong partnership with DEI Committee to create a successful culture and workplace atmosphere.

• Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, payroll, recruiting & selecting, health and safety and coordinating with management to ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations. Worker’s Compensation procedures personnel files, personal service contracts, classification specifications, and position descriptions for new and current positions.

• Performs job audits, conducts labor market survey for wage scale adjustments and advises and assist in the preparation of the salary schedule annually.

• Maintain confidentiality of non-public personnel records, ensuring protection of files and information related to personal information and medical records.

• Chairs the Wellness Committee; works with the wellness committee to promote health and wellness among their peers through activities, challenges, incentives, and education.

• Manages HR budget over twenty-five million dollars and participated in professional group meetings; assist in coordination of the employee quarterly luncheons and initiated exuberant creative ways to motivate employees by introducing customer service awards, and employee appreciation days.

• Manage New Hire and Safety Orientation; processed all new hire paperwork into HRIS system.

• Spearhead year end performance management processes for management, including contribution ratings, salary reviews and Personnel Action Reviews, including performance improvements. Employment History
