e-mail address: ad47td@r.postjobfree.com Mobile phone: 610-***-****

I was born on November 11, 1942 (Armistice Day) in Escanaba, Michigan, which is located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (so I am what is known and a Yooper). I graduated from Central High School in Harris, Michigan in May of 1961 and immediately enlisted in the US Air Force. After 4 years I was honorably discharged, married one of the Air Force nurses, Jo-Ann by name and entered a computer programming course in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

WORK:

After graduating first in my class, my wife and I moved to Mt. Ephraim, New Jersey and I began working for IBM as a programmer/machine operator in September 1965.

I left IBM in September, 1967 and began working for Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company in Haddonfield, New Jersey as a Life Insurance Agent.

In 1971, I left Provident Mutual and began working for Mass Mutual Life in Abington, New Jersey as the Director of Retirement Plan Administration.

In September of 1979, I incorporated my business and moved to Conshohocken, Pa and began my current business as a Pension and Profit Sharing Plan TPA (Third Party Plan Administrator). I am in the process of selling the plans I administer to several TPA firms around the country.

EDUCATION:

High School: Central High School, Harris Michigan Graduated in May, 1961.

I enlisted in the US Air Force: Brooks Air Force Base San Antonio, Texas and from May, 1961 to December, 1961 I enrolled in the Aero Medical Course to prepare to serve as an Air Rescue Medical Corpsman. I was honorably discharged in May of 1965.

I enrolled at the American College of Financial Services Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania September, 1970 to June, 1975 and was awarded the CLU designation upon successfully completing the 10 unit course.

I was accepted at St. Charles Seminary Overbrook, Pennsylvania September 1982 to May 1988 in the permanent diaconate course. Ordained as a Permanent Deacon in May of 1988 in the Roman Catholic Church upon completion of the course. Currently serving as a Permanent Deacon at St. Helena Parish in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. I have been at my current assignment for 25 years.

GOALS: I am 80 years old and feel as energetic as I did 25 years ago. That probably because my wife Jo-Ann (married for 58 years) and I exercise at the “Y” every day during the week (except Sunday). I underwent a total hip replacement on my right hip in May of 2018. I subsequently underwent a total hip replacement of my left hip in February of 2022 and am finishing with my rehab and am back to normal life which means among other things walking each day and fly fishing and golf when possible. . I have been successful in dealing with business owners in setting up retirement plans for their companies and early in my career was also successful in selling life insurance to young couples. My aim as I move away from running my own business is to integrate my skills with an organization in which I have full confidence that together we can provide a product desired by our customers. I have been successful in volunteer organizations most notably the Ambler Kiwanis Club where I served as President in the 1976-77 and 1978-79 years. In addition, I am a retired member of the Union League of Philadelphia where I was a member from 1986 to 2015.
