Retrieves computerized information to assist with tray and/or nourishment assembly such as standing orders, nourishment labels, tabulated recipe lists, and other simple information to assist in meal delivery.

Identifies discrepancies between the prescribed diets and the food items designated on the menu, tray ticket or by the patient preferences. Reports discrepancies to a supervisor or dietitian.

Gives guidance to lower-graded employees when they are unfamiliarly with servicing appropriate items for a modified diet and when there is no tray ticket or other guidance.

Stocks, organizes, sets up, cleans, and maintains the work area prior to, during, and after scheduled hours of operation.

Follow directions in assembling, measuring, weighing, or mixing ingredients for basic formulas and supplemental feedings following standardized recipes and using sanitary techniques.
