Oversaw and conducted On the Job Training (OJT) for maintenance personnel. Ensuring the availability of lesson plans, facilities, and training aids. Quality Assurance: Oversaw the Air Force Communications Standardization Evaluation Program ensuring all requirements were met as defined in applicable instructions. Established a deficiency analysis program and performed technical reviews. Served as the focal point for the self-sufficiency program, corrosion prevention and control program and the subject of electrostatic discharge control providing help, advice, and authoritative references to the work center supervisors.

Safety: Organized and managed unit safety program. Performing facility and work center safety inspections, revising, and implementing the lockout/tag-out program, RF radiation protection program and Personal Protective Equipment program. *Increasing the overall hazard awareness program resulted in zero safety mishaps during 3-year tenure.

Technical Order Distribution Office: Ensured the adequacy and accuracy of Tech Order files in the maintenance activity in either hard copy or electronic copy. Validate local work cards and assists in the development when needed. Maintain an automated tech order management database of over 500 Tech Orders. *Less than 1% findings out of 200 Tech Orders checked during IG inspection.

Install medical equipment, bedside heart monitors, central stations, clients, servers, and slave monitors, OBT TV and telemetry systems. Oversee sub contractor’s installation of CAT 5 cable and Fiber cable runs.

Install Microsoft NT operating system on all systems and configure for LAN networking. Perform CAT 5 punch downs and product assurance validation when finished to assure system is performing properly to design and customer specifications. Loading software provided programs for each system, which include NT server and NT client, CBT, and DEMO modes of operations.
