(***) *** - **** ad4647@r.postjobfree.com 5150 Charles Ewell Ln., Woodbridge, VA 22193 Profile

I am a passionate worker and have held a variety of positions throughout my endeavors, from those that were labor intensive to customer service. Experience

DRIVER HELPER, UPS; SPRINGFIELD, VA — NOVEMBER 2019 - DECEMBER 2019 Again working seasonally for the company, my duties remained consistent as I was responsible for the organization of packages on the trucks, unloading of the items, and assisting with the transportation of the articles from the truck to their respective delivery addresses.

SERVER, DOMINION ENERGY CHARITY CLASSIC PGA TOUR; RICHMOND, VA — OCTOBER 2018 - OCTOBER 2018

During my time serving the full length of the Dominion Energy Charity Classic PGA Tour, three days, I maintained a multitude of responsibilities. My day would begin with a complete memorization of the menu at-hand, of which would change on a daily basis, from appetizers to entrees to desserts, for both lunch and dinner. I would move on to the preparation and organization of the foods that did not require cooking and, once complete, would assure that the volunteer in my suite had properly made the area suitable for patrons. From this point I would bring out the foods respective to each of their times, requiring a breaking down of the area and reconstruction based on such times, all while tending to the needs of each of the members suites with such tasks as serving plates, providing alcoholic beverages in a bartender-like manner at some points, and bussing tables. At the end of the day I would close my suite by breaking down tables and chairs and by bringing necessary items back to the kitchen, where I would then wash the dishes in an entirely manual fashion. The large workload and constant pace of the restaurant environment was prevalent with this position and has given me great practice in the trade of serving.

DISHWASHER/LINE COOK, SODEXO; DENVER, CO — SEPTEMBER 2017 - DECEMBER 2017 A job held during my, voluntarily, short time here, washing the dishes for the student-housing building that I lived in has brought me invaluable experience. I was in charge of receiving the dirty dishes, washing them by hand, putting them through a sanitizing machine, and then collecting them on a cart that was then taken, by me, to the dining room floor. As a line cook I was trained to properly handle raw food and was trained to properly prepare such food on the grill and in the fryer. The environment was in constant need of a razor-sharp focus and to work dutifully and as absolutely quickly as possible was essential in order to keep the work place flowing and in prime condition. Although, before this employment, I already had experience in working fast while maintaining a pristine sense of organization, in light of this position, I now have a better grasp on such character traits. DRIVER HELPER, UPS; SPRINGFIELD, VA — NOVEMBER 2016 - JANUARY 2017 During this seasonal job, I was in charge of delivering the packages from the truck to the houses and was also tasked with sorting through and arranging heavyweight boxes. The hours were long and the work was tedious and required the body to be in good physical shape. Labor intensive work was daily, as well as the memorizing of codes and numbers. PRODUCE ASSOCIATE, SAFEWAY; WOODBRIDGE, VA — APRIL 2016 - AUGUST 2016 By my second job as a produce associate at a grocery store, the skills needed to keep the department up to standard were coming naturally. I maintained the section by keeping product organized and cleared out the back cooler by pushing the product to the floor. I was also given training on how to operate a cash-register and handle cash/card/check based transactions.

BUSSER/RUNNER/SERVER TRAINING, P.F. CHANG’S; WOODBRIDGE, VA — DECEMBER 2015 - FEBRUARY 2016

This position served as my introduction into the restaurant industry. Hired on as a busser with the promise of receiving training in serving after management believed me to be ready, my tasks during this phase of my employment consisted of preparing the dining room for customers to the exceptional standards upheld by the business by making sure items on the tables were correctly organized and that everything from the tables to the floor was clean and, then, returning the dining room back to this exceptional standard once the customers had left. I progressed to the position of runner where I was responsible for memorizing menu items and ushering select food items, always appetizers and sometimes entrees, from the kitchen to the table of the customer. After my experience in this area peaked, partial server training was administered but personal reasons required me to leave before it could be completed.

PRODUCE ASSOCIATE, FOOD LION; WOODBRIDGE, VA — JULY 2015- NOVEMBER 2015 This was my first true job and where I began to learn how large businesses operate. I received training and earned my certification on the procedures and skills needed to maintain a produce department. I helped in unloading the trucks of product and was taught how to operate manual and electric machinery.

Education

Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Lakewood, Colorado — BFA Illustration, partial completion 2016-2018
